Hello loves!  Today I am featuring my husband on the blog.  This is what he wore to date night...you can see what I wore on the same night here.  I am choosing this post to discuss photography.  I have found that my camera shortens people.  In these photos below, I feel like my husband looks short.  He is not short...he is 6'0" tall.  Sometimes we have to get lower with my camera so that neither of us look short.  Does this happen with your camera, or do you think that it is just my camera?  Maybe it's the setting on my camera?  Any advice would be great!  Both my husband and I are tall and we are proud of it...any suggestions are welcome!

Date Night

Hello loves!  Last weekend, Justin and I had date night at my favorite restaurant.  He snapped these photos for me on the way. 

I almost died when I tried this dress on because it is so long.  That makes me happy because, being so tall, it is hard for me to find dresses that are long enough for me to wear with flats, much less wear with heels.  I was so ecstatic because I could actually wear heels with this dress...and tall heels at that!  I think that everyone has issues with maxi dresses...they're either too short or too long.  I don't know many people, when trying maxi dresses, they fit just right all the time.  Where do you find maxi dresses that are the perfect length for you?

Good Morning Loves!  I apologize for the delay in posts, but my husband and I have been extremely busy enjoying the summer and 4th of July festivities.  I have been swimming....a lot.  Which means no make-up, no cute outfits for posting, etc.  I still have a few that I can distribute, but I need to work on some new good ones.  In the picture below, I was headed to a family reunion on my daddy's side of the family.  It was a casual atmosphere with lots of great food....did I say great?  What do you wear to family outings/reunions?

I bought these shoes with the money that I won from a contest recently!  I could not believe that I won...I never win anything.  I can't say that anymore.  So grateful and I absolutely love these shoes!  I can see myself wearing them with many outfits in the future...expect to see them again soon.

Happy Monday Loves!  I hope your weekend was spectacular!  I have recently been incorporating purple into my wardrobe.  Purple is, after all, my second favorite color.  I have been pairing it mostly with golds.  I guess my inspiration comes from the concept of royalty...you know when only the wealthy could afford to wear the color purple and real gold jewelry.  I think they look stunning together.  What color do you wear with purple?
