Hello loves! I hope your week has gone fantastically! I wore this look below during errands last Sunday and over to a friend's house for dinner. It is actually a very comfortable dress and I love the nautical look of it. I decided to pair the blue with browns and creams instead of reds. How have you styled your nautical looks this summer?

Wedding Season

Hello loves! I love wedding season...it's very romantic and I get to dress up! I especially love it now that I am married; it means so much more to me to be sitting next to the person that I made the same commitment to almost two years ago. I think all weddings are beautiful and it baffles me when people inflict their negative thoughts and opinions on someone's wedding. It is their day, if they like things that you/we think are ugly, appalling, whatever to you/us, keep in mind that it is pretty, nice, etc. to them and let them enjoy what they think will make their day special. The truth is, it hurts the bride when someone has negative opinions, whether they say so or not. On that note, let's all enjoy wedding season while it is here! Hello loves! Today I am featuring my husband on the blog. This is what he wore to date night...you can see what I wore on the same night here. I am choosing this post to discuss photography. I have found that my camera shortens people. In these photos below, I feel like my husband looks short. He is not short...he is 6'0" tall. Sometimes we have to get lower with my camera so that neither of us look short. Does this happen with your camera, or do you think that it is just my camera? Maybe it's the setting on my camera? Any advice would be great! Both my husband and I are tall and we are proud of it...any suggestions are welcome!

Date Night

Hello loves! Last weekend, Justin and I had date night at my favorite restaurant. He snapped these photos for me on the way.

I almost died when I tried this dress on because it is so long. That makes me happy because, being so tall, it is hard for me to find dresses that are long enough for me to wear with flats, much less wear with heels. I was so ecstatic because I could actually wear heels with this dress...and tall heels at that! I think that everyone has issues with maxi dresses...they're either too short or too long. I don't know many people, when trying maxi dresses, they fit just right all the time. Where do you find maxi dresses that are the perfect length for you?

Happy Weekend

Good Morning Loves! I apologize for the delay in posts, but my husband and I have been extremely busy enjoying the summer and 4th of July festivities. I have been swimming....a lot. Which means no make-up, no cute outfits for posting, etc. I still have a few that I can distribute, but I need to work on some new good ones. In the picture below, I was headed to a family reunion on my daddy's side of the family. It was a casual atmosphere with lots of great food....did I say great?
