Check it out! I recently posted about wearing gold accessories and how I have been loving gold with black. While I was surfing online, I came across Kim Kardashian's Fashion Friday post about gold accessories with black. Check out her post here.

Sunday, Sunday
Much like my employer, my church allows casual attire. Interesting point of information that I just concluded. Anyway, this is what I wore to church yesterday. I love wearing dresses, and do so for church often, but yesterday was a cozy-kinda-feeling day.

Work
A few years ago, I really wasn't that into gold accessories. Lately, that's mostly what I wear. I especially love gold with black. Here is one of my favorite work looks. Do you like gold or silver accessories as your neutrals, or something else altogether?

On Trend-Leather Leggings
I have been seeing leather leggings everywhere in fashion...on the runway, magazines, blogs, celebstyle.com (where I saw this picture below) etc. I could not resist purchasing mine a few months ago and absolutely love them. I would like to note here, that mine are pleather. :) For some reason, people are a little surprised when they notice that I am wearing leather leggings. I have worn them a couple of ways, but this past weekend I wore them out for my step-sister's birthday dinner, and of course dancing. This is how I wore them. If you have taken the plunge, how have you worn leather leggings?

Brunch
Yesterday morning my husband and I went to brunch at our friend's house. Brunch was absolutely delicious and my girlfriend and I made a quick shopping trip for some items for our homes. We spent the rest of the afternoon being lazy and enjoying the beautiful weather. This dress was almost too cool for the day because of the short sleeves, but as long as I was inside or in direct sunlight, it felt amazing! I initially tried this on with a cream scarf (which was really cute) but I thought it might be too warm for the day. I thought wrong...but it's ok because I can work it in next time.

The lost skirt.....
I have had the skirt that I am wearing below for years and just started wearing it this year. I think there was something in my mind, after a couple of years, that was telling me it was too short for work, or maybe it was that I didn't know what to do with the skirt. Whatever it was, I forgot about it and it hung in my closet for years. Well, this summer, I tried it on and it fit wonderfully! I was surprised and determined to make it work. I don't know why I waited so long because I love this outfit now! The picture doesn't do it justice and the next time I wear it, I will make sure to take more pictures to show. I have on white sandals in this picture, but have worn it with nude heels. What do you think?

Repeat
This Past weekend I attended wedding festivities for a friend of mine in our hometown. This friend absolutely loves cowboy boots and almost wore them to her wedding. Knowing her, I knew it would be completely appropriate to wear cowboy boots to her rehearsal and dinner. You probably recognize this dress from my cruise pictures. I changed the shoes and accessories....which look do you like best? Cowboy boots or gold wedges??

Work
Fortunately for me, my employer is lenient on work attire. We have a casual dress code, which can include jeans. With that being said, if I have meetings, trainings, or conferences, I would never wear jeans. Well, today was the first cool day we have had here and for weeks I have been dreaming up outfit ideas for this day. When I woke up, all of those ideas were forgotten and this is what I came up with for work. This is a very common outfit for me in the fall...boots, cardigan or sweater, and skinny jeans. Sooo this really didn't take much thought. Do you have a go-to look for fall??

Sweet Anniversary
My husband and I celebrated our first anniversary (married) on September 10th. Our favorite restaurant is closed on Mondays, so instead of debating on a restaurant for 20 minutes (you would think it would be easy considering there are so many places to eat in Myrtle Beach), we decided to have a romantic dinner at home with hibachi, candles, and our cake. It was so sweet....we even got dressed just to have dinner at home! My shoes are my actual wedding shoes. I got this dress at H&M a couple of years ago, but this was the first time that I have worn it. I have had plenty of occasions to wear it, but it seems I almost always want to wear it to someone's wedding. You may not be able to tell in the pictures, but there are silver, sparkly dots all over the dress. Well, it still looks white.....which is not acceptable to wear to a wedding. Therefore, I haven't worn the dress for a couple of years....until now! On my wedding anniversary, which I think is appropriate!
Cruising in the Bahamas
This past August/September, my husband and I went on a cruise with a set of close couple-friends. Here are some pictures of the different outfits I wore during the cruise. I packed way more than I wore, but I would have hated to be stuck with clothes that I was not in the mood to wear. Yes, I am a mood wearer-meaning my mood dictates what I wear! Notice in the one picture that it is the same black shirt as my previous post-told you it was my favorite! I twisted things up a little here, wearing gold sandals instead (because we were going dancing). Also, what do you think of the fuchsia lip color?!? I am new to the lip color world..I have mostly shied away because of the color bringing even more attention to my lips. Are there any daring colors that you have tried recently?

Birthday Love
September 29-Today is the day that we celebrate my husband's birthday and his mom's birthday with dinner at one of our favorite spots. This restaurant has this deliciously amazing risotto with tomatoes, okra, asparagus and corn. Mmmm...I'm sure you can now tell I'm from the south. Anyway, my husband and his mom's birthday are two days apart and I thought we would celebrate together this year with dinner, family and friends. This is what I wore to dinner. Note-My husband wanted to know why I wasn't smiling...I thought being serious was the way to go...not so much!

Polka Dots
Recently, I purchased several of these sheer button ups and the black one (not pictured) is my favorite. I figured I needed to experiment with the other ones also, so today I played with my polka dot one. Since I wasn't wearing a high waisted skirt or pants, I decided this particular one needed something extra. I ended up pairing it with this belt and loved it! It also makes a pretty gathering at the back because of the looseness of the shirt under the belt. How have you worn this popular polka dot shirt??
