Happy Monday! I hope your weekend was fabulous. I went to an amazing wedding over the weekend and spent some quality time with my husband.
For the outfit below, my husband and I went to dinner with some friends of ours for my husband's birthday a couple of weekends ago. I loved this top when I saw it at Express, but I had the hardest time styling it. I tried it on with regular flare leg jeans, which I thought would be my favorite look. It did not look good...not to me anyway. Then I tried it on with regular skinny jeans...and it still wasn't wowing me. Then I paired it with my black skinny jeans and I was finally satisfied. I added all black accessories (with some gold accents), and I got the look below. Do you ever have an item that you love but have a hard time styling it?

Love the black on black! I'm so bad about buying tops and thinking "I can just pair it with jeans" and then getting it home and not loving it. Such a cute look though!!
